Abstract
A patient with type I right pulmonary artery to left atrial fistula is bein g presented. He had cyanosis with no precordial findings. Diagnosis was mad e by transoesophageal echocardiography. Simple ligation of the fistula with out cardiopulmonary bypass resulted in complete cure. Early operation to pr event complications is highlighted. Transoesophageal findings of the lesion have not been reported in literature. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science BN. All ri ghts reserved.
