Abstract
A 68 year old patient with Laron syndrome (primary growth hormone (GH) resi stance-insensitivity due to a molecular defect of the GH receptor) and seve re obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome is described. Treatment with continuou s positive air pressure therapy resulted in improved nocturnal sleep, dayti me alertness and cognitive functions, (C) 2001 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
