Pa. Marcovitz et Wf. Armstrong, IMPACT OF METOPROLOL ON HEART-RATE, BLOOD-PRESSURE, AND CONTRACTILITYIN NORMAL SUBJECTS DURING DOBUTAMINE STRESS ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY, The American journal of cardiology, 80(3), 1997, pp. 386
Dobutamine stress echocardiograms were performed in 6 volunteers under
basal conditions and after 72 hours of metoprolol, 50 mg twice daily.
Although heart rate responses were blunted, contractility increased t
o levels seen before beta blockade.
