Abstract
Mycotic aneurysms are rare complications in patients with infective endocar ditis, particularly in the pediatric population. We report a case of mycoti c aneurysm of the middle cerebral artery complicating bacterial endocarditi s in a child with Down's syndrome. The patient was successfully treated med ically without the need for surgical intervention.
