Abstract
This report presents the results and recommendations of the deliberations o f the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Commi ttee Panel on the Review of the Fusion Materials Research Program carried o ut during 1998. Metrics. evaluated included evidence of recognition, public ations per worker, new people attracted to the work and significance of rec ent accomplishments.
