Abstract
FT-Raman spectra of 2-, 3-, and 4-chlorostyrene included in alpha -cyclodex trin (CD), glycerol ether alpha -CD, beta -CD, sulfated beta -CD, and glyce rol ether beta -CD were recorded. In the inclusion complexes, the area of t he vinyl nu (C=C) band decreased remarkably, whereas the area of the phenyl nu (C=C) band increased compared to those of liquid 2-, 3-, and 4-chlorost yrene, respectively. From the results, the inclusion structures of 2-, 3-, and 4-chlorostyrene were discussed.
