Rp. Lemke et al., ABSENT PULMONARY VALVE IN TRICUSPID-ATRESIA WITH LEFT-VENTRICULAR OUTFLOW TRACT OBSTRUCTION AND PATENT ARTERIAL DUCT, Cardiology in the young, 7(1), 1997, pp. 94-97
We describe a neonate with tricuspid atresia, absent pulmonary valve,
right ventricular hypoplasia, small ventricular septal defect, left ve
ntricular outflow tract obstruction and a patent arterial duct. These
findings were diagnosed by echocardiography and confirmed by cardiac c
atheterization and postmortem examination. This is a unique report of
a functionally single ventricle variant of absent pulmonary valve synd
rome and biventricular outlet obstruction.
