Abstract
The 2p resonances of atomic scandium at 391-410 eV were studied by photoion spectroscopy using monochromatized synchrotron radiation and the atomic be am technique. The partial ion yield spectra for singly to quadruply charged photoions were observed. The comparison of the total ion yield spectrum wi th the calculated absorption spectrum shows surprisingly good results.
