Abstract
A Bronsted acid is shown to catalyse the inter-metal exchange of mono-anion ic (alkoxide and amide) and dianionic (imido) ligands in four-coordinate mo lybdenum complexes of the type Mo(NR)(2)(X)(2) (R = alkyl, aryl; X = alkoxi de, amide).
