D. Smyth et al., Synthesis and applications to asymmetric catalysis of a series of mono- and bis(diazaphospholidine) ligands, J CHEM S P1, (21), 2001, pp. 2840-2849
The synthesis of a series of closely related mono- and bis(diazaphospholidi
ne) ligands has been achieved using the condensation of a diamine with a bi
s(dimethylamino)arylphosphine. The resulting ligands have given excellent r
esults in palladium-catalysed allylic substitution reactions to form C-C bo
nds (up to 89% ee) and C-N bonds (up to 78% ee).
