Progress in temporal speckle modulation

Time sequential speckle pattern analysis can be very useful for quantitativ e and quasi absolute shape and deformation analysis of optical and technica l surfaces. Speckle methods for measuring deformation can be greatly enhanc ed with respect to range and resolution by using temporal evaluation of the speckle modulation. It will be shown that vibration analysis can occur wit h a very simple optical setup.
