Abstract
Dielectric responses of PbWO4 crystals doped with Y3+ or/and Nb5+ ions were measured. Y:PbWO4 and Y-Nb co-doped PbWO4 showed a typical dielectric rela xation phenomenon while Nb:PbWO4 does not in the same tested temperature an d frequency range. The activation parameters of the dielectric relaxation p rocess were calculated. The doping mechanism of aliovalent ions, combined w ith the dielectric property, was also discussed.
