Abstract
The chromatographic behavior of some derivatives of cinchoninic acids under conditions of normal-phase HPLC was examined. The column capacity factors for the compounds under study were obtained. The nature of the substituent in the quinoline ring and the steric factor were demonstrated to influence the retention characteristics of derivatives of cinchoninic acids.
