The combined magnetoresistive-fluxgate sensor was fabricated utilizing colo
ssal magnetoresistive and magnetic properties of doped lanthanum La0.60Pb0.
40MnO3 manganite. The anomalies of skin effect and penetration of the radio
frequency (rf) electromagnetic field were studied in detail in the 20 kHz-
30 MHz frequency range for various mutual orientations between the if and p
ermanent magnetic fields. The sensitivity 0.7-2% per Oe depending on the el
ectromagnetic wave frequency was achieved. The results can be important in
relevance to possible applications of doped lanthanum manganites as magneti
c field sensitive elements for magnetoelectronics and nondestructive testin
