Abstract
Functionalized alkyl thiocyanates are synthesized in high yields from corre sponding halides via in situ formation of tetra n-butylammonium thiocyanate . Use of this mild but efficient thiocyanation reagent limits the amounts o f by-products. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
