Abstract
Core-shell colloids comprising gold nanoparticles and a uniform titania coa ting were prepared by the complexation of polyelectrolyte preassembled on t he core particles with titanium(IV) bis(ammonium lactato) dihydroxide (TALH ) in aqueous solution, followed by hydrolysis of TALH.
