Abstract
We describe a 26-year-old Indian man who presented with chickenpox and subs
equently developed pemphigus vulgaris 17 days after initial resolution of l
esions. The mechanism of progression from one disease to the other is postu
lated to be that of epitope spreading or molecular mimicry.
