Abstract
Tocolytic therapy with preterm premature rupture of membranes continues to be a controversial issue. Articles focusing on potential benefits and adver se outcomes associated with tocolysis in this disease process are reviewed. Although there may be some short-term neonatal benefit, further investigat ion of this issue is warranted.
