SYNTHESIS OF C-60-PYRROLIDINE DERIVATIVES BY 1,3-DIPOLAR CYCLOADDITION OF AZOMETHINE YLIDES TO C-60

A series of different substituted azomethine Ylides were prepared thro ugh the reaction between sarcosine and different substituted benzoalde hydes, conjugated aldehydes and ketones. Further 1,3-dipolar cycloaddi tion of these azomethine Ylides to C-60 give rise to a series of new C -60-pyrrolidine derivatives. The molecular structures of these compoun ds were identified and characterized by H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, FDMS, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopies.
