High-spin states of Lu-160 have been studied through the Sm-144(F-19, 3n) r
eaction. The previously known pih(11/2) circle times vi(13/2) yrast band is
extended from I-pi = 21(-) to 25(-) and a four quasiparticle band with con
figuration pih(11/2)[523]7/2(-) circle times vh(9/2)[521]3/2(-) circle time
s (vi(13/2))(2) is reported.
