Abstract
The water-in-oil(W/O) microemulsions have been prepared by using the s urfactant diethylhexyl sodium sulphasuccinate and the oil solvent n-he ptane, The transporting behavior of metal ions, such as Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb 2+, Cd2+, Hg2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cr3+ and Cr(VI), has been studied from the water phases or feed phases into the microemulsion phases, The optimu m conditions of preparing microemulsions and transporting metal ions h ave been obtained, The experimental results show that all of these met al ions studied except Cr(Vr) have high transport ratios under these c onditions.
