Abstract
We present a patient a so-called disc cyst. Its location in the ventrolater al epidural space its communication with the herniated disc are clearly sho wn. The disc cyst developed rapidly and regressed spontaneously. This obser vation, which has not been until now, appears to support focal degeneration with cyst formation as the pathogenesis.
