Abstract
The new 2,3-alpha -epoxyjaeschkeanadiol 5-benzoate has been isolated and it s H-1- and C-13-NMR signals were completely assigned by the application of the modem NMR techniques. Its conformations are discussed on the basis of m olecular modelling calculations and nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy (NOESY) spectra. Copyright (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
