Abstract
A novel case is reported in which an S2 nerve root malignant periphera l nerve sheath tumor was diagnosed approximately 8 years after treatme nt for Stage I testicular seminoma. This patient underwent right orchi ectomy and subsequent irradiation therapy to the periaortic region, in cluding the sacrum. Postoperative radiation therapy likely played a ro le in the development of this second malignancy. (C) 1997, Elsevier Sc ience Inc. All rights reserved.
