The model for sphericosymmetric thin-flame combustion of a multicomponent f
uel droplet in a dilute spray using a unit cell approach, developed in the
companion paper, has been used for studying the interaction effect between
droplets. The effects of droplet spacing, ambient oxidizer concentration, a
mbient temperature and pressure have been considered. Droplet life increase
s with decrease in droplet spacing, ambient temperature and ambient oxidize
r concentration. However, droplet life has a weak dependence on ambient pre
ssure. Copyright (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
