Abstract
A navel delta-sigma (Delta Sigma) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) using r esonant tunneling diodes (RTDs) is proposed. A Delta Sigma modulator circui t, which is the key element of the Delta Sigma ADC, can be designed in a ve ry simple form using a monostable-bistable transition logic element (MOBILE ). The operation of this Delta Sigma modulator circuit is confirmed by nume rical simulation.
