Abstract
We report a case of cloudiness occurring on the anterior surface of a hydro philic acrylic foldable intraocular lens 1 year following implantation. Thi s was not a case of phimosis of the capsulorhexis; the dondiness scemed sec ondary to fibroepithelial proliferation. Successful reopening was obtained with YAG laser. No recurrence was observed during the six months of follow- up.
