Abstract
A geometric-kinematic model for the generation of surface topography in a s ingle-pass surface grinding process is presented. The model incorporates th e effects of process parameters such as table speed and wheel speed and als o takes into account the vs-heel topography and original workpiece surface texture. Comparisons between model-simulated output and experimental result s show a good match, supporting the validity of the model.
