Abstract
Absorption, emission and some excited state lifetimes are measured at room temperature and at 77 K in solution. B-Type delayed fluorescence decay time Is reported for the first time for triptycene. The results are compared wi th the findings of photolysis, flash photolysis and laser flash photolysis experiments.
