CoO/NiFe(Ni81Fe19) layers were sputtered onto porous alumina templates to f
orm an interconnected network structure. The antiferromagnetic/ferromagneti
c coupled nanostructured bilayers exhibit large enhancements of exchange bi
as HE and coercivity H-c. compared to the continuous AF/FM films with same
laver thickness. The temperature dependence of H-E and H-C on the NiFe thic
kness is reported.
