Abstract
The salt effects on aggregate (Agg) formation and the formation of ele ctrostatically stabilized aggregate (ESAgg) have been investigated by means of kinetics and fluorescence spectroscopy. Two types of salt eff ects have been observed, one ''conventional'' and the other ''unconven tional''. For the formation of simple neutral Agg's, the salt effect w hich facilitates the Agg formation is similar to the usual salting-out effect; however, for the formation of ESAgg's, the salt effect is qui te different from the usual salting-out effect. The results mentioned above also serve to show that there are structural differences between ESAgg's and Agg's.
