We present in this paper the first part of the analytical simulation o
f the thermal behaviour of terra-cotta brick cavity. We study here a P
VC cavity which gets similar dimensions. We equipped it with a lot of
temperature sensors as we can represent thermal profiles at different
levels in our experimental cell. Then, we compare with theoretical res
ults that we obtain using our simplified model based on Karman-Polhaus
en's method. We conclude about the method validity in little cavity ca
se.
