Abstract
The titanium-mediated cyclization of delta,epsilon -enones by using dichlor otitanium diphenoxide-cyclohexylmagnesium chloride diastereoselectively aff orded cis-substituted cyclopentanols and was thus found to parallel the sto ichiometric and catalytic titanocene-mediated reactions.
