Abstract
We have shown that the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of olefinic aziridine s is an effective route for the synthesis of substituted aziridines. This i s the first example of a palladium coupling reaction applied to an aziridin e-containing molecule. This method is complementary to other methods of azi ridine synthesis utilizing organocuprate reagents. (C) 2001 Elsevier Scienc e Ltd. All rights reserved.
