Abstract
A newly identified form of phosphoinositide 3-kinase is regulated by G beta gamma subunits and is particularly abundant in phagocytic leukoc ytes. It is likely to be intimately involved in the process by which i nflammatory signals regulate phagocyte activation and is a potential t arget for new anti-inflammatory drugs.
