Abstract
This paper deals with the synthesis and characterization of hafnyle (IV) ni trate hydrate from HfCl4. The elaboration method is a soft chemistry one wh ich allows to obtain a pure product. The nitrate was characterized by FTIR spectra, X ray diffraction and thermal analysis data (TDA-TGA). The degree of hydration was determined to be 2.
