Abstract
Mathematical model of a single-deck roller kiln, developing the complex hea t transfer modes acting inside the kiln, is made using a computer program. Design parameters, as well as types of tiles and gas consumption can be int roduced in the program, in order to study the parametric optimisation. of t he model. Global results of the simulations have a good agreement with the data obtained from the ceramic industries.
