Abstract
In this paper, Inter-growth rare earth carboxylate(RECar(3)) were used as p hotosensitizers for photo-oxidative degradable PVC plastics. The photo-oxid ative degradability of the PVC plastics was determined by artificial accele rated aging test, exposure test, IR, UV and GPC, and mechanisms of PVC phot o-oxidative degradation initiated by RECar(3) were discussed. Results show that RECar(3) are efficient PVC photosensitizers, and can reduce PVC cross- link during UV radiation.
