Abstract
Dipolar electron binding to the diatomics SiBe, SiMg, CNa, and SiNa with hi gh-spin neutral ground states is surveyed. All molecules possess one or mor e valence-excited anion states. SiNa- supports at least two (5)Sigma (-) di pole-bound anion states. The triplet-quintet multiplet splitting of the dip ole-bound states in CNa- is rather small.
