Thick metal-dielectric window

A three-quarters wavelength thick electromagnetic window is presented. The window is centrally loaded by a periodic array of sub-resonant conducting i nclusions. Contrary to the classic half-wavelength thick window that displa ys isolated zeros in the reflection frequency response, the new window disp lays a double-zero reflection frequency response leading to a wider transmi ssion curve.
