Abstract
The analysis of tile quantum mechanical model of mesoscopic size antif erromagnets shows that small antiferromagnets are characterized by a s tronger exchange coupling and by an oscillating character of spins pol arizations. Experimental evidence of tile quantum character is discuss ed. We interpret tile interlayer coupling in antiferromagnet superlatt ices and a puzzling resonance observed in nano-size antiferromagnet gr ains.
