Abstract
This research presents a step by step description of the procedure to corre ct high resolution satellite rainfall estimation for parallax error and oro graphic effects, and shows how these adjustments can be performed on any sa tellite rainfall estimation technique. The procedure is tested on the exper imental automatic rainfall estimation technique currently in use by the Nat ional Environment Satellite Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), at the National and Oceanic Administration (NOAA).
