Morphological models of textures are available to simulate the geometr
y of two phase composites and to predict their macroscopic physical be
haviour: for random mosaics built on a random tessellation, Boolean mo
dels, Dead Leaves models, or combinations of these models, third order
correlation functions, can be calculated theoretically; this is used
to predict their macroscopic complex dielectric permittivity, using th
e derivations of D.J. Bergman and G. Milton, and to look for optimal t
extures with respect to the material behaviour.
