Abstract
While the data base on the agriculture sector is relatively adequate i n certain areas, new and emerging areas of production and methods of c ultivation have prompted the need for more substantial and accurate da ta. This paper highlights the data requirements and existing data gaps in agriculture and livestock sectors.
