Abstract
Pentafluoropyridine was used as the starting material for the preparation o
f a range of pyridine derivatives that bear five different substituents. In
this context, syntheses of penta-functional pyridine systems by sequences
of nucleophilic aromatic substitution, palladium catalysed coupling and bro
