This paper reviews the solution-phase synthesis of trifluoromethyl (Tfm)-an alogues of bioactive peptides, such as RGD-peptides and the aspartyl protea se inhibitor pepstatin, and the solution/solid-phase synthesis of Tfm-subst ituted retro- and retro-inverso peptides and hydroxamates.
