Abstract
In this work, polymeric complexes formed from poly(ethylene oxide) (P(EO)) and K2TiF6 have been investigated analyzing the structural characteristics and electric properties concerning relaxation and diffusion processes. A di ffusion/migration model was used to simulate the charge transport mechanism and it was estimated that cation species are responsible for the charge tr ansport process. P(EO) is semi-crystalline at room temperature, so, the dep endence of the conductivity and the diffusion coefficients on the temperatu re was explained in terms of the Arrhenius behavior. From the slope of thes e curves, values of the activation energies of migratory and diffusion proc esses were calculated. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
