Parkinson's disease is typically characterised by loss of function and prev
ious abilities, often accompanied by complications of treatment in later st
ages of the disease. We report on a patient who newly developed an artistic
skill after starting treatment for Parkinson's disease. This case offers i
nsight into the neurology of the artistic process as well as into the patho
physiology of psychiatric adverse reactions to the treatment of PD. (C) 200
