Abstract
Following the international Yb-169 intercomparison (EUROMET action 410,), t he full-response functions were used for the processing of Yb-169 photons s pectra obtained from spectrometers equipped with Si(Li) and HP-Ge detectors . These functions were determined by a semi-empirical method using several reference spectra. The influences of the source design and experimental det ection conditions on the shape of the full-response functions are investiga ted here for the Si (Li) detector used in the "Khlopin Radium Institute". T he influences of various parts of the response functions on the low-energy range were estimated for both detector types. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V . All rights reserved.
