The merits of neonatal circumcision continue to be hotly debated. The vast
majority of the world's male population remains uncircumcised; however, the
majority of boys born in the US continue to undergo neonatal circumcision.

ildren who are uncircumcised do very well from a medical standpoint and, th
us, the question of whether the US health care practitioners are subjecting
neonates to an unnecessary surgical procedure remains.
